Kent Cornucopia Scholarship
Pageant
Our very own Miss Cornucopia represents the Kent Cornucopia
Days Festival, the Kent Lions & Foundation, the City of Kent, and the Greater Kent Community.
The Kent Historical Society also selects our very

2010 City of Kent's "4th of
July Splash"

Enjoy this full day of activity at Lake Meridian featuring
food, crafts, entertainment, and tons of games. There will also be the annual huge fireworks display
and boat parade. This is a City of Kent event that is sponsored in part by the
Kent
Lions Club and Kent Cornucopia Days.

Kent Cornucopia Carnival
We
also have a full size carnival and midway. Provided by Funtastic Shows. There
is a giant midway and over 20 rides including a section dedicated to young kids.

Grand Parade
See South King County's largest parade with
100 entry's. The Children's parade leads off the Grand Parade. Includes the SEAFAIR Pirates, royalty from around Puget Sound, floats and bands. For more

Children's Area
At Town Square Plaza Park.
Entertainment, displays, vendors tailored towards kids and families.
And of course the fun Town Square Plaza fountain.
Juried Fine Art Show
The Kent Arts
Commission’s juried fine art exhibit
is displayed in the Centennial Center
Gallery, 400 West Gowe Street,
open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day during Kent Cornucopia Days. Regional artists
exhibit paintings, prints, photographs and wood carvings during this annual
show. Visitors are invited to
cast votes for the People’s Choice Award.
Summer
Art Exhibit Gala
The annual Kent Cornucopia Days Summer Art
Exhibit Gala hosted by the Kent Arts Commission offers a festive evening of
art, food and fun on July 8 from 5:00 to 8 p.m. at the Centennial Center
Gallery. All are invited to attend this free event. Join sponsors Bella
Home & Garden and
Mama Stortini's Ristorante & Catering for refreshments, a no
host bar and French cabaret music by Rouge. Meet the artists and vote for

Lions Health Fair (see attached
info)
Visit the Lions Health Fair and be tested for eyesight, hearing,
diabetes, blood pressure and other health needs. Donated by the members of
the Kent Lions and local community health care providers.

Kent Police & Fire
Departments Safety Fair
Our annual
display of Kent's Fire and Police vehicles & programs. View Fire trucks and
cars, police units and DARE cars. On Railroad Ave between Meeker and Gowe.

Military Display
Several of
our country’s military branches bring out lots of their equipment for
display. Kids just love climbing over Humvee's, Bradley Fighting Vehicles
and hands on looks and instruction of small arms. On Gowe St just east of
1st St.

Beer Garden
Sponsored by
the Ram Restaurant, and located in Burlington Green Park. A wonderful place
for you to enjoy handcrafted beers from the Big Horn Brewery. It is also
right next to the Gazebo Stage and a great food court. Come on over and
enjoy this event that benefits several non-profit groups.

Kent Valley Artist “Art
Show”
Enjoy this
long standing event at Kent Cornucopia Days. The Kent Valley Artists
demonstrate and showcase their in the Rosebed Bud Park on 1st Ave
between Meeker & Gowe Streets.

& Titus Mini Food Court

returns with “Lions Bingo” at the Titus Park on 1st & Titus

Kent Cornucopia Blood Drive
The Puget
Sound Blood Center will hold a blood drive during Kent Cornucopia Days at
Columbia Bank, corner of 4th & Meeker, on Saturday. For further
